Inviting a Witness with a Shareable Link

When inviting a Witness to the deposition using a shared link there are additional steps that must be taken.
- Invite your Witness to the deposition using the Shareable Link, please see How-to Add Attendees to a New Deposition.
- When the Shareable link has been enabled, the deposition room browser URL may also be used to copy and share with other users to join the deposition.
- Once The Witness has used the Shareable Link to join the Deposition, they will be added as a Video Counsel attendee and will not be present in the Witness Video Placeholder Box.
- As the Host, navigate to the Edit Deposition page where the attendees are listed.
- Find the newly added Counsel Attendee that needs to be prompted to the Witness role and click the Edit Button.
- Change the Role from Counsel to Witness and click Save.
- The Witness will now refresh automatically and be prompted to the Witness Role and correct place in the Deposition Room.
