Follow Realtime is an realtime command that allows you to toggle the position of the cursor between the last realtime stroke and the last editing location in the file. When using the Follow Realtime command, you can continue to write realtime regardless of the position of the cursor. The text is added to the end of the file.
From the computer keyboard, press Tools, Follow Realtime (Ctrl-Shift-l (letter L)) to disable Follow Realtime and press Ctrl-Shift-l again to enable it. A check mark in front of Follow Realtime on the Tools menu indicates the option is active.
If you notice that the cursor isn't following the realtime, try pressing Ctrl-Shift-l.
Note: Ctrl-Shift-l is the default key combination but if you have been using CATalyst since before version 16, you may need to use the former default which is Ctrl-l.
